DONE.
current mood: DONE.
current song: DONE.
DONE. DONE DONE DONE.
Poster is mostly done. It looks...really nothing like I thought it would, but I like it.
Okay, project self-evaluation time...
Bought spray paint, paint, brushes, all that poster jazz... Got my pictures developed, too; off to make my poster...!
But before I go...
Man, it's weird that this is going to be finished soon; it's always felt like it would just keep going on and on, perpetually--me dying before it does. But amazingly, here we are, nearing the end, and I can't help but note how odd that is--that such a large part of this school year (and indeed, the school year itself, and my entire highschool experience, even) is finally winding down. I don't really know what else to say about it; just odd. ...But at the same time vaguely freeing, somehow; like... Oh, bother, I don't know.
Anyway, back to work...
Got a big poster board yesterday. I figure my poster will look something like this:
I might also make it so it's like a cardboard cut-out of him, and then fit the cut-out with a shirt.
...We'll see...
I printed for HOURS today. Four and three quarters, to be exact. Oh man. Out of control. And I got more shirts the other day. So so far, off the top of my head I think I have about 30 or so hours done. I am really going to have to hunker down over spring break... Ooh, I wonder if these entries count for time... Yeah, of course they do... Right...? Yeah. They have to. Great! That's more time! Plus all the time it took to set the journal up, fill in the information, design it... Fantastic.
Yay! Yay yay yay!
Mr Ethington found me a premade screen in the art room!
I don't have to buy more silk! And I can start printing again!
Yayyyyy!
Okay. My screen is clogged. I have to make a new one.
Agh. Dammit.
It wouldn't be so bad, except for the fact that I'm out of silk, which means I have to get more, and it's $80 DOLLARS A ROLL.
Boooo.
What am I going to do...?
As the subject line says, I got more shirts yesterday, so I'm printing today (of course). I can't get over the fact that people who are not Mr Hancock actually want to buy my shirts; fantastic.
Printed for an unprecedented 4 and a half hours yesterday! Felt like I was going to collapse (I mean, come on: I hadn't really slept the night before, I eaten all day, and I was standing up the whole time; you'd be a little exhausted, too.) But yes, got six shirts done, so, hurrah.
Bought more shirts yesterday. (Ooh, also, I realized I forgot to log all the times [3] that I've gone to buy shirts [approximated total time: 2 1/2 hours or so] in my mid-way check point... Oops...) Ah well... Anyway, more printing today...!
